Character Name: Kain Highwind
Canon: Final Fantasy IV/Dissidia 012
Age: 21
What were they arrested for?: Betraying his friends through attempted murder, also some theft and some A LOT OF kidnapping. OH YEAH and they also connected him to that time he set off a bomb that decimated an entire village of innocents. :| (It'll all be basically a twist on his actual canon, with some twist of dissidia stuff thrown in as well). The bomb thing was a directive from his commanding officer, and his best friend was also involved but he's basically taking the blame for it all alone.
How long is their sentence?: LIFE.
How long have they been at Obsidian?: He's a newcomer.
Character Description: Kain gives off a surprisingly upstanding vibe at times despite where he is and what he's done. There's a sort of honorable and loyal side to him. In fact, some of the details of the betrayals are a bit foggy in his head because he was being controlled/used (likely drugged or otherwise somehow under the influence of some kind of crazy mind control) by some criminal masterminds at that point. He's very susceptible to stronger forces, though he tries to fight against that, and also has a darker side which he'll be struggling against in this environment too. He's got a background as a military fighter, probably air force, given how much he connects to the sky as a character. So he knows how to hold his own in a rough/violent situation.
Potential CR wanted: Anything! He'll probably be in dire need of friends, anyone who can be on his side. But, I also adore negative CR, and given the environment, I expect and hope that'll come up too, so... any sort of rivalry, anyone who wants to really mess him up, etc.

1). Backtagging: Always cool with me! I know how it is to get busy and behind with things. If it's something really time sensitive, it's great if we can at least work out where things will go. But even with that worked out, I still love actually playing things out, so I'll keep tagging until the bitter end!
2). Threadhopping: Sure, I'm good with this too.
3). Fourthwalling: I would prefer that you run it by me first. Don't expect him to believe you or react well ICly, if something does come up. The one thing that's off-limits to mention to him is the outcome of The After Years (I don't want him to ever find out his own future in particular). That being said, I absolutely love playing off of TAY characters in general, so as long as they stay away from his fate, I'm really happy to play with them. Most anything else is fine.
4). Canon puncture: No thanks.
5). Offensive subjects (elaborate): Nah. It takes a lot to offend me, but I'll let you know if I'm not ok with something.
6) Things I won't play: Parenthood. Dragon babies are awesome, though! I'm also NOT interested in anything involving aging him dramatically, including taking him from the TAY timeline.

1). Hugging this character: Hahaha, at your own risk. It would definitely surprise or weird him out, and depending on the person he probably won't take it well.
2). Kissing this character: Again, at your own risk! It really won't go over well unless it's a significant other.
3). Flirting with this character: Go right ahead! He won't like it or react well to it, but it's fine by me to mess with him.
4). Fighting with this character: YES PLEASE. Kain has an ongoing need to 'prove' himself and face extreme challenges to accomplish this. Expect a tough battle if you pick a fight with him.
5). Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Serious, brutal injuries are all fine by me! BRING IT ON. I'd rather avoid any disfiguring injuries though, and would want to talk first before anything permanently damaging ever happened.
In memes I'm definitely ok with injuries that would be permanently damaging, so feel free to literally tear him apart in places like Bakerstreet. There are no limits there.
6). Killing this character: YES PLEASE. I'm very much cool with killing him, death scenes are my favorite thing to play!
Same goes for memes as well as games- GO AHEAD AND KILL HIM OFF, repeatedly and often. The more horrific the better!
7). Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: YES. Kain's mind is an open book. He's weak to mental manipulations, so by default I allow anyone with these powers to have access to his mind. Of course, if you want to plan anything that'll mess him up I'd just like to know about it.
